AVL Consultancy Limited was formed by Vic Laws in 1986, and
has become the leading consultancy providing services to the food
service sector of the catering industry.
Since the inception of competitive tendering and benchmarking, the company has provided expert services to many Local Authorities,
Colleges and Universities. The company also provides expert catering advice for PFI projects and staff catering for business & industry (formerly described as 'canteens').
Vic has over 25 years experience of contracting from his previous
positions as Managing Director of Spinneys and ARA (now Aramark),
and a Director of Grandmet (now Compass) and Forte's Airport
Companies.
Vic Laws is a Past President & Fellow of the Institute of Hospitality, a
member of LACA, ACE,
FCSI, NACC, and a Fellow of the Institute of Directors.
