Graveney School, Tooting
Graveney is one of the largest Foundation (ex GM) schools in the country with a roll of over 1700 pupils. The service was operated under an executive lease contract with the staff being employed by the school. AVL were commissioned to review the operation of the contract and, following this review, the service was put out to tender. AVL wrote the specification and conducted the tender process. This resulted in substantial savings to the school that were re-invested in a capital building programme for the pupils' dining area.
