Somerset County Council
SCS operated both a Client Services Department and a DSO within different divisions and the Council. AVL Consultancy were retained by the Environment & Property Department to review the structure of the two departments, liaise with clients, Social Services, Head teachers and end users both catering and cleaning, to assess levels of satisfaction and the way forward. Vic Laws also interviewed senior officers within SCS to look towards the strategy organisation for service delivery in the future.
